HOW I WORK
You’ve probably tried to change something before —
and found yourself slipping back into the same pattern.
Not because you didn’t want it.
But because a part of your system is still running
an old programme.
That’s the part we work with.
Why insight isn’t always enough
You can understand a problem completely and still feel unable to shift it.
That’s because knowing what’s happening isn’t always enough to change it.
You might know — logically — that something isn’t dangerous, yet still feel the reaction.
That response isn’t coming from your conscious thinking mind.
It’s coming from an automatic programme that hasn’t been updated.
It’s not wrong.
It’s just out of date.

What I work with
The subconscious mind responds to safety, understanding and relevance.
We work with the relevant part of you that’s still running the pattern, using insight-led subconscious work and, where helpful, the non-trance CONTROL Method.
We look at what the response was trying to do, why it made sense at the time, and what would work better now.
We’re not trying to fight the pattern — we’re updating it.
What sessions are like
You are fully present and involved throughout.
Sessions feel calm and conversational rather than hypnotic in the traditional sense.
There’s no requirement to relive events or explain your past in detail.
We work with what your system already knows, at a pace that feels manageable.
You stay in control throughout.
This isn’t about being “put under” — it’s about working with your mind in a way that makes sense.

Practical details
I work mainly via Zoom, which is an excellent way to do this work. I also see people in person locally and work with clients overseas.
We usually begin with a Free Initial Conversation and if you want to proceed then a Consultation takes place, lasting around an hour. This gives us both space to talk things through and see whether working together feels right.
Around three sessions is common, though everything is tailored. Between sessions, I spend time reflecting on the work and preparing carefully for what comes next.
If this sounds like the kind of approach that would suit you, the next step is a free initial conversation.
